PRECISE PREPARATION PROCESS FROM ARRIVAL TO SALE.
This is one of the key areas that sets AMV apart. All our imported Japanese vehicles undergo a detailed preparation process. This is managed by Edward and our carefully selected professional partners who carry our specific tasks. For example, we have a local specialist gearbox company that service all our CVT gearboxes. Their long term experience is priceless and ensures this vital part of the D5/Outlander gets the individual detailed attention it requires. We work with a local specialist seat repair company that works on any seat requiring attention, be it a slightly worn drivers side seat bolster or small tear in the fabric. We work with mechanic Paul who before setting up his own business was the head technician at the local Honda dealer and indeed head technician at Porsche. At AMV we believe in working with local specialists who have the knowledge and experience to carry out their specific tasks to the highest of standards. This is also what sets AMV apart and ensures we achieve our target of preparing the highest quality imported vehicles in the country. These are just a few examples of the local businesses we work with to ensure that we can accomplish the standard we set out to achieve.
Edward works tirelessly to make sure all vehicles reach an extremely high standard before sale. He is extremely meticulous and the following checks and changes will be carried out on each and every vehicle as and when is necessary.
AS A MATTER OF COURSE THE FOLLOWING WILL BE WORKED ON WITH EVERY VEHICLE, REGARDLESS OF AGE OR MILEAGE.
- Health check and full service inc Oil and filters.
- Suspension components checked and repalced as required.
- Brakes checked and serviced.
- Transmission Oil (CVT full service carried our by local specialist).
- Rewiring of a new fog light integrated into rear light cluster,
- Fitting of high quality D5 mph dials.
- Fitting of high quality UK stereo unit including DAB radio and Bluetooth with upgrade options to include Apple carplay/Android auto and navigation. These are professionally fitted to ensure existing cameras are incorporated and indeed should the Delica/Outlander have an amplifier, this is also integrated.
- Methodical professional repair to any bodywork imperfections, scratches, dents in our local professional bodyshop.
- Full professional machine polish. This is normally a 2 day process using a high quality Italian polisher and different levels of paste and pads depending on the level of cutting required.
- Bodywork waxed or ceramic coated (option).
- Underbody fully waxed with Dynax/Lanoguard.
- Detailed interior clean and sanitation. This often includes removing front seats and plastic trims for a thorough deep clean.
- Glass and lights cleaned and polished.
OTHER IMPORTANT CHECKS INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING AND WILL BE REPLACED AS AND WHEN REQUIRED.
- Tyres - We offer a range of tyre options in all terrain, all season and summer tyres.
