2005 SILVER MITSUBISHI DELICA SPACEGEAR CHAMONIX
We originally imported and prepared this one about 4 years ago for a good friend of the family who works as a head at a secondary school and is involved with D of E and mountain leadership. He therefore used the Delica for carrying equipment in all seasons and also as a day to day car for his family. Earlier in the year he contacted me because he had changed his job, was doing high mileage and needed a small efficient car to get to work. We bought it back off him and we spent several weeks re-preparing it in May this year.
It required a new rear tail pipe so we imported a genuine Mitsubishi rear and mid pipe from Japan and essentially we fully re-prepared it as seen in the AMV preparation checklist. We went through everything and refurbished the wheels in satin black, fitted original Yokohama Geolander tyres. It also has a rear ladder and comes with a full Genuine ABA WORKS aluminium roof rack which are quite rare. It has done 111 147 miles and is a 7 seater.

This is our very first full Delica conversion, which was initially completed and handed over in November 2019 to one of our very local customers. 4WD 2005 Mitsubishi Delica day van.
This is our lovely ex-demonstrator Delica L400 which is now available again having been owned by a local customer for the last two years. We prepared and converted this superb Delica in 2020 so it had our full preparation and has been maintained with no expense spared over the last couple of years. Having covered just over 6,000 miles since we first MOT’d it in July 2020 it has only been used for sporadic weekend adventures. Current mileage is 78692 and is therefore still extremely low for it’s year.
This Delica has our side pod kitchen unit in Denim Blue with leisure battery, battery charger, 12v split charge system which ensures the leisure battery is charging whilst driving along, twin USB sockets, 12v socket and additional independently switched LED lighting in the roof. In addition, it has a 240v hook up with double RCD protected sockets. It’s the perfect compromise between having everything you need for an adventure off the beaten track and yet still having 6 seat carrying capacity and huge load bay when needed.

Our Deep Green D5 has been in the Love Detail Brand studio with Chris this week for it's detailed machine polish and WAX IS DEAD 'ULTRA' 24 month ceramic coating. This coating has a scratch resistance above 9H hardness. Resistance and protection against the weather, UV, chemical, scratches, oxidation and corrosion. It makes future maintenance of the exterior so much easier for our customers. These are the first photos taken whilst the ceramic is still curing. The result is quite frankly stunning! We decided that painting the elevating roof to match the bumper would give this Silver D5 a look of distinction and we are delighted with the result. Possibly our most unusual, extremely enjoyable and highly entertaining handover to date. We had the pleasure of being entertained by the highly talented Master Magician, entertainer and musicians Jez Mansfield and his partner Emma. Ed was totally mesmerized and found some of the card tricks ludicrously unbelievable.
This Delica has been chosen specifically and it's Grabber AT3 tyres added at the customers request so they will be able to get off any muddy festival field. It will be travelling the country and will be used to it's full potential. It will be a great base for the many upcoming festivals, including Glastonbury that the couple will be attending and performing at. At AMV we also love rare vehicles of interest and our 1997 Honda Prelude is a fabulous example of this. I've been looking forward to taking this classic Honda out for some time so to finally finish our preparation and be able to test it was a real pleasure. The way it handles with it's 4 wheel steering and powerful 2.2 bulletproof engine is a joy. Whilst driving I had to remind myself this car is 24 years old!

We have finally completed the preparation of our superb two tone Black/Grey Mitsubishi Delica Chamonix. This one has been particularly interesting to work on with the challenge of ensuring we could get all the requirements finished during the current lockdown and in time for the winter months. New owner Thomas Heaton Photography is a professional landscape photographer and wanted a vehicle that could take him to remote locations in all weathers. He wanted an adaptable vehicle he could sleep in on location whilst awaiting the right conditions for his superb images. He specifically wanted the two tone model and we can see why, particularly with it's refurbished chrome anthracite wheels. We have fitted BF Goodrich tyres on request to ensure he can go wherever he needs to off the beaten track! We have also fitted bespoke curtains to all the rear windows and re-fitted the authentic ladder so Tom can access his roof rack. Delica's are built for adventure, built to last and we are delighted that this one is going to be used to it's maximum potential.
