ONE OF OUR L400 FULL CONVERSIONS

Our latest 2001 Mitsubish Delica L400 Full conversion is now completed, ready for handover and we are absolutely delighted with it. This really is a truly astounding example throughout and after many hours working on the bodywork we feel we have achieved a cracking result. This one is equipped for any adventure both on and off road! With it’s full conversion designed and built in house, the combination of on grid/off grid camping ability and 4WD go anywhere ability makes this a truly superb vehicle. A lot of new research and development has gone into this particular one. We’ve fitted it with an adapted safety tested passenger seat spinner and a diesel heater for those chilly autumn nights. Additional equipment includes a solar panel, 130 amphr leisure battery, 240v hook up and numerous other detailed features that make our AMV Delica conversions …. as ever….. completely unique!

Adventure Motor Vehicles are also extremely pleased to have teamed up with a lovely small local business who have created this bespoke, handpicked and hand packed ‘AMV Hamper of Three County’s’. As we are situated in Lancashire but also bordering the Lake District and Yorkshire Dales National Parks, Happy Homely Company  have created a little taste of each county in one hamper to send our customer’s off on their first adventure!

This all terrain graphite grey 4WD Mitsubishi Delica D5 comes with our bespoke rear removable retro looking kitchen workstation built to the highest standard in house and new rear elevating roof. The workstation includes a dometic sink with 12v tap and glass folding work surface, balanced 12 litre fresh and waste water system with pump, pull out cutlery drawer, and camping gaz cooker. This is our Fourth conversion option which allows the vehicle to revert back to it's original 8 seater layout if and when required. With the kitchen workstation in it still retains 6 seats. It comes with a whole host of our optional extras including external 240v hook up, 2 x 240v sockets, 12v socket, twin USB sockets, additional LED lighting above the workstation and a 65 amphr leisure battery on a split charge system to power it all. A full set of our bespoke D5 curtain and blackout pads ensures total privacy when required. A new Pioneer apple carplay/Android auto stereo is fitted to make full use of the 12 speaker superb amplified sound system. For all our Delica's it's the attention to detail that matters and we have had new D5 mph gauges designed and manufactured specifically for our AMV D5's. Externally the list goes on with a set of new Grabber AT3 tyres, authentic aftermarket JAOS D5 mudflaps and a towbar with single electrics.

Our D5 full conversion project started mid 2021 with a drive to create one of the most desirable 4WD go anywhere camper conversions available in the UK today. After many months of research and hard graft we are into the final week of completing our largest project to date. The bespoke full conversion of our Jade green D5. Many hours of preparation, discussion, design and craftmanship to create the most wonderful 4WD proper off-road go anywhere camper. Internally, the wonderful array of detailed features make it a very pleasurable place to be. From the spinning seats, the clever additional lighting, the beautifully crafted shelving to maximize storage to the bed cushions being upholstered in the original fabric from the rear seats to give that 'factory' finish. The quality is in the detail. Externally, a host of our AMV 'optional extra' features have helped lift this D5 to another level. From the refurbished anthracite wheels, the satin black wrapped grille with gloss black badge to the Grabber AT3 tyres. It's a 4WD vehicle you can use as an everyday runabout during the week yet go off the beaten track... literally...at the weekend.
