Why visiting Japan matters to us
Visiting Japan is essential for us, not only to forge our business relationship with long term partners but to also give us the space in the right environment to be creative.
Most importantly, we wanted to find new Delica options for our customers and pathways for the future because after all, Japan is a truly inspiring country to visit.
Just a taste of some of the exciting adventures Edward and Oscar got up to in the 'Land of the rising sun....'
HAA KOBE AUCTION - DAY 1
What an amazing opportunity to inspect the vehicles personally before the bidding begins.
Oscar and Ed were able to inspect a wide variety of vehicles of interest both inside, outside and starting the engines. Oscar was in his element here!
Building relationships matters most. After a busy day walking around the auction, we enjoyed a meal with Naoya and his family.
This is the kind of connection that makes this work feel more like a patnership.

HAA KOBE AUCTION - DAY 2
On day two, Ed, Oscar and Naoya were all set and ready to go, prepared to place bids on the vehicles they had carefully selected the day before.
THE BULLET TRAIN (SHINKANSEN) TO YOKOHAMA
Leaving the auction behind, it was time for the next part of the adventure. Ed, Oscar, Naoya and his family boarded the famous Japanese bullet train, heading across to Yokohama to visit the camping car show.
Speeding through the countryside we were treated to a wonderful view of Mount Fuji standing majestically in the distance.
